  • ConCar is founded in Munich - initially, production focussed on exhaust pipe systems

1977

  • Expansion of the product range to “ConCar” brand car V-belts

1978

  • Georg Huber supplies ConCar with “ConCar” car care products
  • Takeover of ConCar by Georg Huber on 21.12.1978
  • Relocation of the company headquarters from Munich to Garching (Schleissheimer Strasse road)

1979

  • Product expansion through industrial V-belts and “ConCar” wide
    V-belts
  • Establishment and ongoing expansion of a dealer network in the Federal Republic of Germany and the first exports

1980

  • First participation in a trade fair as an exhibitor at the Automechanika in Frankfurt/Main

1982

  • Expansion of the range by raw edge, moulded-cogged “ConCar Rex”
    V-belts

1983

  • Relocation of the product focus to industrial V-belts - no further wearing car parts or care products in the delivery range

1985

  • Thanks to collaboration with Bando, ConCar adopts the first timing belts into its range
  • ConCar purchases its first cutting machine for timing belts
  • Thanks to a new partnership with Volta, ConCar can now also supply V- and round belts to its customers
  • First participation as an exhibitor at the Hanover Trade Fair (Hannover Messe Industrie)

1986

  • From now on, “ConCar” V-belts are produced at the company’s factory in South Korea

1987

  • Gates timing belts are added to the core product range and are from now on available from the ConCar warehouse

1990

  • Establishment of a dealer network in the East German federal states

1991

  • Move to new, larger premises in the Dieselstrasse road in Garching
  • Banded belts, double V-belts, ribbed belts, wide angle belts and flat belts are now also available in stock
  • An additional timing belt cutting machine is purchased

1992

  • Further partnerships in the field of PU timing belts with Megadyne and NSW

1993

  • Establishment of our own export and technology department

1995

  • Due to the higher workload, a third cutting machine is purchased
  • Link belts are added to the product range

1997

  • ConCar goes online with its first website

2003

  • Daniela Engelbrecht (b. Huber) joins the company and continues the family business line. In 2005, she becomes Managing Director

2004

  • New construction of an office building with connected warehouse in Hohenkammer - now, V- and timing belts are available in stock as a standard

2007

  • ConCar GardenPower coupling belts are added to the delivery range

2008

  • ConCar becomes an official sales partner of Gates
  • Boris Engelbrecht joins the company, first as Sales Manager, then as Managing Director in 2010

2009

  • A sales partnership with iwis follows - chains are added to the standard product range
  • A welding machine for PU timing belts (goods cut by length) is purchased

2010

  • Sales partnerships with KTR and NSK enable ConCar to expand production to include couplings and bearings

2012

  • Opening of a processing centre and expansion of timing belt assembly
  • Expansion of the NSK partnership to include linear motion

2013

  • ConCar becomes SKF platform dealer for seals, Linear Motion and Power Transmission (PT)

2016

  • ConCar celebrates its 40th company anniversary
  • The members of the VTH (the Verband Technischer Handel e.V. - the association for technical trade) crown ConCar “Supplier of the year 2016 in the area of drive and conveyance technology

2017

  • ConCar becomes an authorised SKF contract dealer - expansion of the SKF product range to include bearings

2018

  • ConCar becomes an official Conti partner

2020

  • ConCar takes its decades-old partnership with Bando (since 1985) to a new level and becomes an official premium partner
