Flat Belt Pulleys - ConCar

Flat belt pulleys (tapered) are currently being used more frequently, since they offer several advantages over V-belt drives:

high efficiency
four times longer service life
significantly quieter
low-maintenance due to almost wear-free operation; re-tightening of the belt not or hardly necessary

Flat belt pulleys with a flange are increasingly being used in the ventilation industry in particular. In this way, the belt is prevented from drifting during the start-up drive phase. For this reason, precise alignment of the flat belt pulley is essential in all cases in order to avoid misalignments.
